The Tainted and ....Lisboa!

The Tainted is a very powerful servant of Sauron. He is the Nazgul, in whose presence all bold warriors cower and if you add him to your army he can be a serious menace! The Tainted as a miniature is also very nice, I  really like it!

Hello!

In the meanwhile, I visited Lisbon, the capital city of the neighboring country, Portugal. Below you can see some sights of this beautiful place!

Castle of São Jorge

Jardim de São Pedro de Alcântara

Plaza de figueira, estatua ecuestre de Joao I

The famous number 28 tram

   Pedro rosete, welcome on board!

Back in Spain ..... again!

We are back in Andalusia, where the weather is more than perfect! I brought some useful things from Athens. Among them is a box of the old Easterling Kataphrakts. It is a friend's gift for Xmas. On the way back, while we were in Madrid, we visited the famous Prado museum. The eagle-eyed blog visitors have already seen the metallic ruler at the front left of the picture below. It is a souvenir from the Prado museum's gift shop. Rulers are helpful tools for our hobby!

Loot from Athens

El Jardín Tropical of Atocha station,
the main railway station in Madrid.

Goldfish in Atocha pool

Fideuá de mariscos (mini elbows with seafood)

Fideuá de mariscos is a very tasty dish here in Andalusia, something like paella with pasta instead of rice! A masterpiece of Spanish cuisine!

The "kneeling" Dweller

Recently, we went to Athens for Christmas after five months we have spent in Spain. I checked my display cabinets and every miniature I left back home was fine except for one of my Dwellers! It became a "kneeling" dweller! The base which I made for this dweller was not the proper one and I thought that this and the hot Greek summer were the reasons of the miniature condition. I was wrong by half! My base was not the reason, but the finecast was! My friend Scott faced the same problem and not only he remedied the miniature but he found a very clever solution to prevent it in the future!

The "kneeling" dweller

and how it was!

"the sorry state" as Scott says!

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone from Athens! Let 2015 bring to each one of you health, happiness and love!

I hope during 2015 I use more my brushes and paints than I did last year!

......and eat smaller portions than in 2014!
